What do Certified Email MessageS Look Like?

Identifying a CertifiedEmail message

While all CertifiedEmail messages have unique advantages, features and benefits across all of our patricipating ISPs and mailbox providers, each provider's user interface is generally unique to the provider. To see what email domains are supported at each provider, refer to the "supported domains" page.

Regardless of the provider, all CertifiedEmail messages feature:

  • 100% assured delivery
  • A security strip showing the message is safe (except Yahoo Mail Classic, there is no security strip as this is the legacy platform).
  • The CertifiedEmail blue trust seal / blue ribbon envelope icon in the message list
  • Images visible and links active by default

Message List

The message-list is fundamentally the same across all providers (except for UI/look-and-feel).: The following is a sample of what a message list looks like for a CertifiedEmail message: AOL 9 Message List

Security Strip

The security strip varies across each provider, and between clients (applications/versions). The security strip identifies the message is safe and will always include the CertifiedEmail Blue Trust Seal CertifiedEmail Blue Trust Seal at a minimum. The sender's name may also be shown. Some providers may not have a "strip" per se, and may choose to show the information as part of the header or as a badge. Only CertifiedEmail messages will have the security strip indicated.
