Goodmail Systems Announces 200th Sending Brand for Certified Email
Doubleday Entertainment Signs as Charter Sender Program Hits Four Times Expected Goal
Mountain View, CA; September 6, 2006 -- Goodmail Systems today announced that it has signed 200 sending brands to the CertifiedEmail Charter Sender Program. CertifiedEmail is Goodmail's service for restoring trust to email communications among volume email senders and their consumer recipients.
"We are delighted to be on board with CertifiedEmail," said Christian Busch, director of online marketing for Doubleday Entertainment. Doubleday Entertainment is the preeminent marketer of books and merchandise via direct mail and e-commerce in the U.S. "We look forward to using the CertifiedEmail service to help us assure delivery of our email communications with all links and images intact."
Available to senders with the best email practices, CertifiedEmail imprints a cryptographically-secure token on outgoing email messages, assuring delivery to the server-level inbox with all links and images automatically rendered at participating ISPs and mailbox providers like AOL and Yahoo! CertifiedEmail messages are delivered with a unique trust icon, assuring consumers of an email message's authenticity.
"Charter senders have been seeing click-through rates improve as much as 30 percent and business results like site logins and revenue per email increases as high as 28 percent," said John Ouren, senior vice president of sales and business development for Goodmail Systems. "This explains why sign- ups for our Charter Sender Program are now four times what our original goal was for the program. "Email messages resulted in higher click-throughs, and improved program response rates."
The Charter Sender Program allows qualifying volume senders who sign up by September 30, 2006 to send free, unlimited CertifiedEmail for three months. After the Charter Sending promotion ends, the cost to send CertifiedEmail is one-quarter penny per message.
